Air Quality in Wellington

Wellington is the winter equestrian capital, with show barns, polo estates and large homes in the Equestrian Preserve. Estates with barns, staff quarters and several structures each.

Inland with canals. Heavy rain sits on low lots. Large systems in dusty equestrian settings.

We handle whole home air quality in Wellington from the first call to the final walkthrough. Demolition, debris removal and dumpsters run on our own crews and equipment, and licensed trades handle any permitted work through Village of Wellington Building Division. One company, one project manager, one schedule.

  • Clear the area around closet air handlers.
  • Note any musty smells near vents.

Avoid

  • Do not set the AC very high or off in a closed summer home.

Questions, answered

Is this just a duct cleaning?

No. Duct cleaning is part of it, but we also inspect air handlers, coils, drain pans and look for moisture and mold. You get a written report for every system.

How often should Wellington homes have ducts cleaned?

Every three to five years for most homes, sooner after renovation, water damage, mold, smoke, or with pets and allergies.

What if you find mold?

We document it and explain the options. Remediation over 10 square feet requires a licensed remediator under Florida law, which we are, and an independent assessor writes the protocol.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Our restoration lead holds Florida Mold Remediator License MRSR2859, Lead Renovator Certification 183166 and Florida DOH biohazard registration 13-64-1716182, with certifications in Water Damage Restoration, Applied Structural Drying and Applied Microbial Remediation. We carry $1M per occurrence and $2M aggregate general liability and issue certificates to HOAs, condo associations and property managers on request.

Do I have to sign over my insurance benefits?

No. Florida banned assignment of benefits on residential property policies issued on or after January 1, 2023, and we do not ask for one. You contract with us directly, stay in control of your claim, and we give your adjuster the documentation.
